EU 2020 Climate targets – New challenges and chances for cities and regional authorities

The Energy Efficient Building Design Unit (FGee) of TU Darmstadt of the TU of Darmstadt, organizes in cooperation with the Odenwald Academy as a part of the EU-project 10Action a conference with the topic of the EU 2020 - climate targets on 4th September 2012, 14-18 pm. The event is addressed to municipalities, city councils, local authorities, utility companies and all other interested parties.

Location: Karo5, TU Darmstadt, Karolinenplatz 5, D-64289 Darmstadt

The event provides information on climate targets associated with the new challenges for construction and building restoration. In this context the cross-linking in the urban environment will be discussed. Without losing the perspective on intelligent cities, best practice-projects from single family homes to the administration building will be presented. The conference focuses lies on local sustainability objectives in order to find answers for the building in the city in the region and in the community.
