SOLAR DESIGN COMPETITION

IDEAS FOR THE FUTURE“

Design and Creativity Competition for 10-14 and 15-19 year olds

Targets: Youth

When: New edition: from May 15th to October 15th, 2012.Depending on the country

Through this competition, students was invited to propose creative ideas and innovative approaches that provide solutions for the buildings of the future. Participating students have developed ideas for "your ideal city" or " ideal house" of the future. Through the observation and research in their own environment, they have found new solutions to the everydays problems.

The following countries takes part in the Solar Design Competition:

Spain:second round until Ocober 15th 2012. Please, find the new rules attached.

Austria: the competition is closed

GERMANY: The Competition is closed. Prize ceremony on 30th March 2012. The national exhibition in the German Architecture museum (DAM),is already finished.
