“ENERGY + ARCHITECTURE”

In three teaching modules basics of energy-efficient building will be introduced. By means of a planning game, students can assume roles of the different actors in urban planning.

The partcipating countries are: Greece, Germany and Spain

The teaching modules are available, in all partners languages, for schools for download at http://10action-teenagers.sdeurope.org  

The results of the planning game can be submitted to the 10ACTION Solar Design Competition; the best projects will be displayed in an exhibition during the SDEurope 2012 in Madrid.

How to participate

The German Architecture Museum in Frankfurt will offer continuing education classes for teachers on the subject of “Energy + Architecture”. Further information can be found at www.dam-online.de

Also the “Umweltstation Unterallgäu“ has agreed to include the materials and competitions in their educational program. This institution also offers educational camps or school trips to the subject. Please go to www.umweltstation-unterallgaeu.de for further information.
